DuckWise — frequently asked questions
Short, factual answers. Figures are taken from the live record and were last updated 5 October 2026.
What is DuckWise?
DuckWise is an iPhone and iPad app and a research publication from DuckWise Research, operated by INDARRA LIMITED (Nicosia, Cyprus). It publishes model trade ideas on US-listed stocks, ETFs and crypto. Every idea states its entry, stop, price projection, risk grade and thesis before the position is taken, and every closed idea since 2019 stays on a public track record — 596 ideas so far, 118 of them closed at a loss.
Who writes the ideas?
People, not an algorithm. Ideas are researched and written by human analysts and published under the name DuckWise Research. Every idea goes to every subscriber at the same time.
Is DuckWise investment advice?
No. DuckWise publishes general, impersonal research. Nothing in it is tailored to your situation or a recommendation that any security or strategy is suitable for you. INDARRA LIMITED is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer and does not claim any such status. Investing involves risk, including the loss of capital.
How is the track record calculated?
From published levels only. Each idea is counted from its published entry price to its published close price. The model portfolio gives each idea its published share of capital, marks open positions at market and leaves uninvested cash earning nothing. Fees, taxes and slippage are not included, and these are not the returns of any real account. The full method is on the methodology page.
Are losing ideas shown?
Yes. Every idea closed since 2019 is listed, winners and losers alike, with its entry, close and result. Of 596 closed ideas, 472 closed in profit, 118 at a loss and 6 at breakeven.
How long does a typical idea last?
The median idea is held about 37 days from entry to close, so a push notification is enough to keep up. Ideas are swing and position trades, not day trades.
How do I know when an idea opens or closes?
The app sends a push notification the moment an idea is published, its levels change, or it closes — each with the reason.
Does DuckWise trade for me or need access to my brokerage account?
No. DuckWise executes nothing, holds no money and never asks for brokerage access. You read the idea and decide for yourself, at the broker you already use.
Which markets does DuckWise cover?
US-listed stocks and ETFs, and major crypto assets such as Bitcoin. It does not cover securities listed in India or derivatives such as futures and options.
How much does DuckWise cost?
The app is free to download with a 14-day free trial of DuckWise Pro, then a monthly or yearly subscription billed through your Apple Account. Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency; you can cancel any time in your App Store settings.
Is there an Android app?
Not yet. DuckWise is on iPhone and iPad; an Android waitlist is open on the website.
